Shakespeare’s Pub and Restaurant!
Shakespeare’s Pub and Restaurant is a new restaurant in Mesa, Arizona, owned by Darren Hickman and Shaun Claypool. They also own Churchhill’s Pub in Chandler, AZ.
They hired us to manage marketing for Sheakepeare’s Pub and Restaurant. Their biggest challenge is getting the word out that they are new in town.
Some of the things we have done include:
- Created a presence on Twitter and Facebook. Have developed relationships with local leaders and groups that have brought in business meetings and parties.
- Publicity campaigns: Featured on ABC 15 Deal of the Day on Wednesday July 15th, 2009. Received free television coverage and social media coverage. Continue to work with local media.
- Implemented daily specials including: Half Price Happy Hour; All You Can Eat Friday Night Fish Fry, Karaoke Tuesday/Saturdays; Twitter Tuesdays.
- Summer Specials Include Free Soft Drinks with Lunch Purchase or Free Appetizer with Bottle of Wine Purchase.
- Contacted local business groups to let them know about our meeting space.
- Working with the Chamber of Commerce to host Commerce events at the restaurant.
- Implementing Holiday Specials such as “Free Dessert for Dads on Father’s Day.
- Created a giveway card to give a free sample or discount to local businesses when they show the card.
- Monthly email newsletter
- Working on creative contest ideas
